One Flew Over

Eyes Open

Eyes Open paints a portrait of a fallen angel with “so many faces,” symbolizing the deceptive glow of early love. As the haze lifts, the narrator confronts the painful truth: nothing was real. It’s a visceral, emotionally charged journey from blind devotion to brutal clarity—crafted to resonate with anyone who’s ever loved too deeply, too soon.

The You Show

'The You Show' is an up-tempo feel-good cocktail of Beatles (Abbey Road), Teddy Swims, Eels, Artic Monkeys (The Car) and Nina Simone. The lyrics pulse with the thrill of the chase, capturing the exhilarating journey from discovery to triumph.

Last Man Standing

Last Man Standing is a powerful anthem of tenacity, encapsulating the spirit of overcoming obstacles and emerging victorious against all odds. It’s a testament to enduring through life’s trials and triumphs, ultimately standing tall amidst the challenges.

Not Good For Me

Not Good for Me explores the inner conflict of being drawn to someone who makes you feel alive but who is also not good for you.

Maybe in Another Lifetime

Maybe In Another Lifetime is a song about losing somebody and processing through the aftermath. The song slows the tempo of previous releases and marks a solemn and raw sentiment, underpinned by an upfront and candid vocal with a stripped back accompaniment.

RISE

Rise is about breaking away from the constraints that hold you and finally becoming liberated and free. It begins, ‘You make the rules and I stand in line like a good girl… I pay you in full then you hold out your hand for more ’ guided by a tense web of guitar motifs. The song is a defiant dawning that enough is enough! The chorus is an upbeat charge forward, bolting out of the traps…

Liar Liar

The song depicts elements of betrayal, sleight of hand and triumph over deceit. It’s steeped in 60’s flavour, but with a modern edge and comes under the genre of ‘blue-eyed soul’.
